PRESS RELEASE 1/12/2003:

Washington Post Openly Discriminates Against American Workers!

A. Hamilton and Bucktowndusty, founding members of fromthepen.com, a political and philosophical writers group, found out today that their discriminatory ad stating "undocumented immigrants only need apply" ran in the Sunday, 1/12/2003, classified jobs section of the Washington Post. It was run on page K12, 2nd column from the left, 3rd ad from the bottom.

AGAIN, Why this ad?
We wanted to see if the Washington Post would actually post our "thought-provoking" ad. As those who follow the illegal immigration issue closely know, the Washington Post and other papers nationwide continuously run op-ed's touting the benefits of illegal immigration, perpetuating the lie that illegal immigrants do jobs Americans won't do, pushing the acceptance of a 245I amnesty, and insinuating that anyone who disagrees is a xenophobe or closet racist.

WE NOW HAVE PROOF THAT THERE IS A CONCERTED EFFORT TO DISCRIMINATE AGAINST AND UNDERMINE THE WAGES OF AMERICAN WORKERS!

ACTIONS NEEDED!!!!!!!

  2. Tell your children that the age old myth of "if you work hard, you can get ahead" is no longer true in this new immigration age.

    2. Saw your ad in The Washington Post and I have done DOJ/INS/EOIR work in the past. Are you joking, trying to be clever or just plain ignorant (not to be confused with "stupid")? If you're trying to be clever, then you need some help . . .
      (Being a clever Web Master is the only job left for us Americans!!!!)

    3. Third response was someone trying to send us a virus attachment resume! (I was clever enough not to open this one. Please refer to the 2nd bullet point above.)

    5. AND OUR FAVORITE!! - I read your article online today entitled, "Washington Post Openly Discriminates Against American Workers!" I was interested until I got to the second paragraph below the ad. Where I found a bolded title, "AGAIN, Why this add?" At that point I stopped reading. Why? Because any writers' group that can't spell the word "ad", which by the way is short for "advertisement"... ...is not a group that I deem to be credible. Therefore, I stopped reading, searched for your address, and promptly left your page for good.
      You might want to watch that.
