McCain & Conservative Prisoners of War

Upon his capture in Vietnam, I imagine Vietcong soldiers throwing John McCain into an underground pit and looking at him through the slits while throwing food at him on occasion.

I imagine the Vietcong seeing his as not much more than a rat; merely subhuman refuse.

I imagine the Vietcong talking to each other, but oddly enough, they start speaking Spanish. They're wearing La Raza t-shirts and waving Mexican flags, too.

All of a sudden one of the soldiers turns into John McCain and now I'm the prisoner in the pit hearing McCain shout, "Por La Raza todo, Fuera de La Raza nada," which means, "For the Race, everything, outside the Race, nothing." He spits on my Conservate t-shirt and tells me if I vote for him he'll give me some meager scraps of food.

I wake up from my nightmare, but soon remember that McCain is no dream. I tell myself that if I stay home on Election Day the nightmares will stop, and my t-shirt won't get ruined.

Fill-er Up And Check The Air

Democrats continue to hammer away at the idea of taxing big oil companies, especially, presidential candidates H. Clinton and H. Obama. They want "big oil" to be accessed "Windfall profit" taxes to pay for everything from tooth picks for the toothless to condoms for the pregnant.

The truth is that oil companies don't make near as much profit margin as do other businesses.

If oil companies were to forgo their profits and break even, gas would only be lowered from today's high of $3.65/gal to about $3.57/gal. That's a profit margin of only 3.3%, nowhere near the 30% average businesses make and certainly not in the "Windfall profit" category.

Now, if you really want an example of "Windfall profits," you only have to look back a few years at H. Obama and H. Clinton's profits verses investments.

H. Clinton invested $1,000 in cattle futures and one week later profited a net gain of $100,000. Together, she and B. Clinton amassed of fortune of $109,000,000 in just a few years simply spreading bullshit.

H. Obama hasn't done bad either, amassing millions in his short political career.

So how about it Dems? Filler-up!
