Think Liberally, Act Hypocritically

Want to do something fun? Find a car that has bumper stickers reading "One World, One People," "War Is Not The Answer," and "Think Globally, Act Locally."
Find out when the owner arrives and leaves at whatever location you always see them park.
Ask them if they really believe in what their bumper stickers state.
Ask them if they seriously think that all the peoples of Earth could get along as one people.
Ask them if they believe differences can be solved without fighting.
Ask them if they are willing to do something about human strife and conflict on a personal level.
When they confirm how much more enlightened they are then you for believing the stickers, ask them to prove it by leaving the Democratic Party and joining the Independent Party.
When they stammer, mumble, then tell you to F-off, remind them of the hypocritical bumper sticker creeds they just violated.
Find another lib, rinse, and repeat.

Take This Amnesty And Shove It

This week Governor Spitzer of New York turned the "Big Apple" into guacamole when he issued an executive order to give illegal aliens driver's licenses, ignoring that fact that 72% of New Yorkers say, "No," to the idea. However, Spitzer feels that he was anointed King of New York instead of a mere Governor and is proceeding like a Spitzhund (German for pointed dog) ignoring the people.
With some sort of corkscrew thinking, Spitzer said that it was better for national security because illegal aliens would have to get insurance to drive. It makes you wonder what insurance company would insure someone who is in this country illegally and possible a terrorist. Would they have restrictions on their policy that declares no liability if the illegal runs a car loaded with explosives into an Embassy.
If I were an illegal alien, I'd be thinking to myself, (In Spanish because I haven't bothered to learn to think in English),
Why in hell do I want to register for a driver's license? Do they think I'm stupid? If I register they will want me to pay taxes on the money I send back to Mexico. And if I have to do that and pay for insurance I can't afford to pay for the rest of my family to get here. No thanks. They can keep their driver’s license and while they are at it, they can keep their amnesty too. I’m happy just like I am, on the gravy train with Medicaid. Anyhow, what are they going to do deport all 20 million of us.
