Multiculturalism: A pain in the ass, even after you die
by Bucktowndusty
Sperned on by liberalism and unpatriotic me-ism, an unhappy fungus spore complained that Christianity and Judaism were mentioned during flag-folding recitations of military funerals.
Forget tradition, forget koombya, and forget the thousands of Christian, agnostic, atheist, Jewish and other families of fallen soldiers that don't mind the references; this person who complained was offended. And, in this world of multiculturalism, the government must side with the offended – lest they be deemed offensive.
So what did the The National Cemetery Administration do? Just remove the two references? No. They removed the whole flag-folding ceremony. Oh, joy. Chalk up another example of the dismantling of American culture.
It’s not offensive for foreigners to come here and impose their language and culture on us with diversity training, and bilingual education (making us pay for it through taxes), but it's apparently offensive for non-traditional Americans to experience American traditions. What a crock of shit.
Each example of offended minorities taking away from the majority merely adds frustration and anger within the majority. Take away too much of their traditions and these ungrateful, unhappy minorities will one day truly have REAL offenses to gripe about.
As for the flag-folding issue, the persons who complained don't realize that the true offense is theirs – they might as well have spit on all the graves of the fallen soldiers, and the faces of their families. What's more offensive than that?

Boxer and Hot Embers
by A. Hamilton
The Santa Ana Winds are seasonal occurrences in Southern California, but this year they were historically devastating because of extreme heat, dry vegetation and sickos with matches; the result of which was a fire storm with 100-mile-per-hour winds flinging red hot embers and ash for miles toward Los Angles and San Diego.
In the face of this, governor Schwarzenegger coordinated local, state and federal authorities who immediately sprung into action evacuating a million people and providing them with food and shelter. Also, most heart warming was seeing the people of San Diego pull together to help one another.
For once, I agree with Geraldo Rivera who stated that the way in which Southern Californians came together was the anti-Katrina, the hurricane that drowned New Orleans.
Sadly, not everyone had that proud feeling in their hearts. Senator Boxer, Senator Dodd, and California Lieutenant Governor John Garamendi instinctively blamed President Bush, saying that if the National Guard wasn’t in Iraq the fire wouldn't have been as bad.
Excuse my vulgarity, but I'd like to bend Boxer, Dodd and Garamendi over a barrel and let the Santa Ana wind blow 100-mile-per-hour, red hot embers and ash up their bare asses just to see if they would cry for the National Guard or a fire fighter.
Another sad note occurred when illegal aliens stole a truck load of cots, bedding and other supplies meant for the fire victims who were put up in the stadium in San Diego. Fortunately the illegals were caught by the authorities when they returned for a second truckload. Let's face it, they were just trying to experience the American Dream and secure a better life for them and their families.
In one sense you can't blame them for breaking into America and not wanting to return as even the Santa Ana fire storm stopped at the border, refusing to enter Mexico.
