The Gore’s Prayer
by Bucktowndusty

I dedicate the following rework of “The Lord’s Prayer” to Al Gore and the rest of his liberal carbon crusaders.

The Gore’s Prayer

Al Father, who art in transit,
Phony be thy game.
Thy Lear-Jet hums.
Those lies you’ve spun,
About Earth, and your huge mansion.

Give us a break, your daily dread.
And forgive us with bus passes,
As we curse those flying first-class above us.
And lead us not into stagflation,
But humor us more, Sir Carbon-Knievel.

Amen!

Please copy and paste this to your own blogs and link back. Let's make this go viral faster than a carbon molecule shooting out of Al Gore's ass.

Out Of Patience
by A. Hamilton

It’s really hateful the way the Washington Post led the public to believe, casually noting the phrase “out patient,” that our wounded troops were coming home from the war in Iraq to be treated at rodent filled, bug infested, mold-and-mildew-covered Walter Reed hospital.

Out patient refers to when veterans of all ages from all wars go to get same day treatment for colds, molds and sore butt holes. It’s where guys like me go to get medicine, checkups and, like the Army says, “Hurry up and wait.” It’s where one goes to sit next to old farts for hours and listen to them bitch about their rights as a soldier from the Siegfried lines. It’s not where our troops from Iraq go who have had their arms and legs blown off. That part of Walter Reed is state of the art with the best medical care in the world. Do they really want us to believe that President Bush and many in Congress have gone there and stumbled over rats and felled ceilings?

The real reason? It’s because things are starting to get better in Iraq with President Bush’s plan to reinforce, or back-up, our troops. Liberals can‘t say reinforce or back-up. They have to call it, a “surge,” or “escalation.”

It’s just that their hatred for President Bush is so enormous that they search for a topic to scold him, and I think the public is starting to get a little irritated with it all.
