The Separation of Twerps & Taste
by Bucktowndusty
My title is as odd as our government forbidding children from praying at state schools while simultaneously allowing prisoners to pray in state prisons. Where’s the common sense in this? There is none, but our bureaucrats are foreigners to traditional values, so it is to be expected. And, if we combine this stupidity with their insistence of importing millions of foreigners with anti-traditional American customs, incidences of anti-traditionalism and uncommon sense will only increase.
Take the recent incident of 6 Muslim men being removed from an airplane flight for praying aloud. Some would argue that they had every right to do so on the plane. But, where’s the common sense and common courtesy there?
The terrorists of 9/11 prayed before they acted. They prayed to the same god, too. So, any rational Muslim with common sense and common courtesy would know to wait until they landed and double-up the prayers they may have missed. Any rational American would, and should, be suspicious, especially when these Muslims, like so many other legal and illegal immigrants, willfully chose to speak in a language other than English.
Besides, the airline industry is so far up the government’s ass with bailouts, security policies and operating procedures, that they might as well be considered a state apparatus off limits to the faithful.
What’s next? Will we see Rastafarians being allowed to smoke joints in-flight? How about a Voodoo chicken sacrifice in coach? What about a Sudanese genital mutilation before mealtime? Could we have flight attendants announce the emergency procedures in 50 different languages, causing planes to run out of fuel before they begin?
I say, “Assimilate foreigners,” or get a two-way ticket back to your home countries where you can say and do whatever you want. Last time I checked, you’re still free to do so.

Speak It, Or Beat It
by A. Hamilton
They still don’t get it.
Republicans lost control of the House of Representatives and the Senate by a slight margin of voters who felt their pleas for immigration control were shunned by the Republican leadership. Instead, they ramble on, blaming their loss on Iraq, party corruption and gay men playing with little boys.
In reality, both Democrats and Republicans don’t know crap about what yanks Americans off. All they see are skimpy, partisan polls and the political groupies who stand before them jumping up and down, screaming and popping balloons the same way they would do at any birthday party.
Still, both parties insist that, “The American people have spoken.”
To further refine the disappointment that many voters felt, Americans don’t like bumping into Spanish-only speakers every time they turn a corner. It’s not so much that they are here illegally, although that should be enough to encourage our law makers to get off their butts and insist that immigration laws be enforced, or that they taking the mythical jobs that Americans won’t do, but they seem to be making no attempt to learn or speak English.
Maybe if Congressmen Chuck Rangel gets his way and the military draft is reinstated, then women as well a illegal immigrants can be drafted accomplishing the “Doing jobs American don’t want to do” myth. With this, one of the requirements can be that they must be able to speak English before they are discharged. I can just hear the sergeant yelling, “Forward march,” in six different languages.
Otherwise, I’m proud to be American when I’m in the company of Asians, Hispanics, or any people of apparent foreign decent who speak English, because that’s what America’s all about. Otherwise I feel like saying to them, “Get the hell out of my country.”
