Proper Partitions Prevent Powerful Pelosies
by Bucktowndusty
The likes of Sean Hannity are busy scaring voters witless into voting Republican by instilling fear of a Nancy-Pelosi-led, Democratic-controlled Congress and the plethora of negative consequences that would follow as a result. But, look closely and it’s clear as day that through Republican fear, inaction, and abandonment of social and fiscal conservative values on numerous issues, by default, Americans, by default, already have most of what Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts would give us.
Let’s break down each of the fearful arguments:
Refineries and Anwar – the fearful says that if Pelosi and her goons gain control of Congress, we’ll never have drilling in places like Anwar or build more refineries to become energy independent. Well guess what? After 6 years of Bush, and even more years with a Republican dominated Congress, we already don’t have drilling in Anwar or any new refineries.
Prayer in Schools, and God in the Pledge – so what if the Godless Pelosi army wins; Republicans are so scared to stand up for traditional Republican values that a Defacto-Atheism already exists in our schools, court houses, and public places. These Republican leaders are so scared of criticism that they can’t even see that prisoners are allowed to pray in state prisons, but kids are not allowed to pray in state schools. The power over, and fear of, the separation of church and state has separated Republican leaders from their nut-sacks.
Secure borders – This is a loosing battle. Bush wants an illegal, unpatriotic North American Union. Bush wants as many illegal, cheap-labor Hispanics as he can get to compete with China. We still don’t have a border wall. Roberto Gonzales’s goons just sentences 2 border guards to prison for defending the border. Bush sidesteps the rule of law and passes racist Executive Order # 13171 Hispanic Employment in the Federal Government Initiative to increase Hispanic employment in government. Bush calls The Minutemen vigilantes. The list goes on and on. Both parties want open borders regardless of the ramifications.
Social Security – America still has a system that will go bankrupt. Bush talked tough by proposing personal accounts, but his Republican Congress dropped the ball and ran from negative accusations of hurting the poor and robbing the system.
National Debt – The national debt increases with each year and each administration, regardless of who’s in charge. Bush is spending like a drunken sailor on shore leave. Has he vetoed any spending bills?
Terrorism – Bush has got it mostly right with terrorism. He falls short of naming Islam as the enemy, but he’s going after those that would kill or convert us if they gained control of America and the world. For this I commend him, but again, with his insistence on open borders for cheap labor (otherwise known as invade the world, invite the world), his farsighted, foreign war on terror is a shortsighted, domestic failure.
There are so many issues that blur the distinction between Republicans and Democrats that the Republican base finds it difficult to see the point in voting for “their side” anymore. “Vote for us because we’re less bad” is not a significant selling point to promote the once noble Republican party.
Think of it this way Mr. Hannity and all you Republican leaders. If Nancy Pelosi switched to the Republican party, would you even notice a difference?

Security Is a Bitch-Slap
by A. Hamilton
I read Resa LaRu Kirkland’s articles to pump up my depressed, conservative scrotum and to get a feel for how real American patriots think, especially her articles of October 8, 2006 Time For A Hangin': Wild West Justice Needed in the East and October 16, 2006 What Now? I'm Sorry to Say.
In these articles, Resa writes about the need for America to become more hard-hitting toward our enemies and the inevitable consequences of losing our freedom because “Men's hearts will fail them.” Resa’s writings are emphatically inspirational and cause me to believe that there’s still some kick-ass pride left in our populace. She speaks a truth that muffles the whining, liberal, whore politicians who relent with spineless idiocy. And, be fearful, if the sniffling liberals do succeed in gaining control of Congress this November, Resa’s frets will become a reality and we will hastily become anesthetized in a pile of capitulated compost.
But why would conservatives follow this lethargic path of self-destructive cowardice?
To begin with, I listen to suggestions from persons of all persuasions as to what we should do about rogue nations and religions that threaten us. The most common suggestions are, in effect, “We should just flatten them with a couple of nukes.” And, if the rogue nations happen to have nuclear capabilities themselves, it’s simply, “Let-um use them, then we’ll turn their countries into sheets of glass.” These comedic, over confident comments, illustrate a dangerous complacency in that we feel so secure behind our nuclear arsenal that we can effortlessly solve any universal problem or crush any adversary by simply pushing the thermal-nuclear button at the very last minute. It’s sort-of like New Orleans putting their flood pumps below sea level and only turning them on after the city has been flooded.
I’m not advocating that we never use the threat of nuclear deployment as a deterrent, but a more pragmatic approach would be to let our troops bitch-slap these loud mouth rouges every now and then.
